BOXERCISE CLASSES IN DIDSBURY
WHAT IS BOXERCISE?
Boxercise is a non-contact circuit class based on boxing techniques. It is a fun, high energy and effective way to work out, and helps improve stamina, agility and strength. Boxercise offers a great way to tone arms and legs, improve core strength, and is also a form of cardio exercise which will benefit your general health.
People of all fitness levels can take part in Boxercise, and after taking a few classes or integrating Boxercise into your personal training programme you will begin to notice huge improvements in your physique.
WHAT HAPPENS IN A BOXERCISE CLASS?
Boxercise classes usually begin with an energetic cardio warm up to get your blood pumping. As it is based on the training concepts used in boxing, there are many different components of a Boxercise circuit. Shadow boxing helps you master the technique and learn punch combinations, other activities include skipping, hitting pads, kicking punchbags, press-ups and sit-ups.
Boxercise provides a great way to unwind after a tough day, as practicing punching pads helps release feelings of stress, anger and tension in a controlled, safe manner. You will feel completely calm and relaxed after taking a Boxercise class!
HOW YOU CAN TAKE PART
Unfortunately, since covid, we have been unable to restart the Boxercise classes but we hope to do so soon!
One to one Boxercise sessions are available. In a private Boxercise class you benefit from the instructor’s undivided attention, meaning your technique and fitness will develop at a much faster rate, and before long you will notice improvements in your physique. This can either form part of an existing personal training programme or help build up fitness and confidence in addition to the group Boxercise sessions.
